The Nutcracker!

This weekend Brian and I are going to the Nutcracker Ballet and sitting in the Loge Boxes with Stephanie and Tim! I'm SO excited!! Steph and Tim have both seen it before, Brian and I haven't - but I know I will really enjoy it, I just hope that Brian will as well. I think it will be better than he is anticipating... SUPER excited! I feel like we have had tickets forever - but its finally here!!! YAY!

Our First Movie

So Brian and I have been together for a while now, but we had never gone to a movie... we saw our FIRST movie together this weekend! It was my birthday weekend so I got to choose the movie :) I chose Enchanted!!! One thing everyone knows about me - I LOVE DISNEY MOVIES!!! It was SO good!!! I would recommend everyone to go see this movie! I am definitely going to buy it when it comes out - it was hilarious! I was seriously laughing out loud in the theater! Brian says "it was ok" which translates to me as "I loved it too but I cant say I like a Disney Moive!" haha - he was laughing in it too! What a great first movie :)

Yes again - I know it is Wordless Wednesday, but I am feeling very chatty today :)

Harry Potter is Back!

well... back in my life!

Since school started I had to put reading for pleasure on the back burner... but last night I was able to pick up book 3: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and start reading again! YAY! I am now about to start Chapter 5!! I am so happy I get to start reading them again - they are SO good they keep you reading for hours! and they just keep getting better and better! This one was my favorite movie (except for the latest one, The Order of the Phoenix) So I know I will LOVE this book! YAY for Harry Potter back in my life!

For anyone who hasnt read these books or seen the movies - you are really missing out! I am trying to get Brian to watch the movies... I know if he watches them, he will enjoy them too!!

My Birthday!!

This weekend we celebrated my 24th Birthday! I love birthdays :) Friday night (my actual birthday, I went out to eat with my Mom, Stephanie, and Brian - we went to Babbins for both of our birthdays (mine and my sisters). Food was delicious as always :) Thanks mom!!!

Saturday night I went out with my friends to celebrate. We went to Howl at the Moon - a dueling piano bar in Midtown - I had a BLAST! It was SO much fun and a bunch of my friends showed up... and they kept buying me shots... and more shots... and then they had me go up on stage and spin the 'wheel of death' (dont know if thats the real name of it, but it was the wheel of death to me!!!). It landed on 'Bartenders Choice' So basically a bunch of people from the audience started naming out different things and the bartender mixed them up and made a shot... well I could still kill the person who said tabasco sauce! I wanted to vomit right there on stage! it was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted!! needless to say... I had enough shots at that point... being that can only handle one shot (on a good day) and I had already had 5+ I needed to go home....

YUP! I paid for it aaaaaaaall day Sunday... talk about the WORST hangover OF MY LIFE!!! I was running to the bathroom about every 45 minutes... not very fun... but Brian was a sweetheart and took care of me and got me anything I asked for - which was either ice chips or sprite! haha, I started feeling better around 4pm... today my throat is killing me, so I guess my body is STILL paying for it...

Well I said I wanted to party extra hard for this birthday since I didnt celebrate it last year... My wish came true! BUT I had a GREAT time! Thanks to all of you who joined me!! I had a BLAST!! I love you all!!!!

Four WHOLE Months!!!

YEP! Thats right! I went four whole months without going to the eye doctor! If you know me, thats a record!!! WOOHOO!!!! Haha, I see my eye doctor more than I see some of my family! Well, my distant family... :) My eye had been bothering me, but this morning it hurt worse than usual, so I decided to make an appointment just to be safe. I had surgery on my right eye about 1.5 years ago in which I had 3 sutures (stiches) in my eye - now if you have a weak stomach - dont continue to read - my last suture had broken and was poking out a little (not visual to anyone looking at me). It was rubbing on my eyelid which caused it to be red and irritated. So my eye doctor just gave me some numbing drops and got some tweezers and pulled it out! ALL BETTER! YAY!! This had already happened with the other 2 sutures, so I was used to it by now :)

Skydiving - POSTPONED!

Unfortunately skydiving is now postponed. We originally had a group of 9 people going, but as the date grew closer, more and more people dropped out, leaving us without the group discount… so with it being so close to Christmas, New Years, and the New York trip, it was too much money to pay full price for the skydiving… it really sucks, and I am disappointed about not going – but I have already put my deposit down so I will be going within a year, but I just don’t know when yet :( When we decide the next date, I will be sure to blog about it and hopefully no one will back out on us… :(

Vito’s Christmas Present

Because Vito is my little escape artist, I have decided to get him a micro-chip for Christmas. I would be devastated if Vito got out and I couldn’t find him. I figure that he's so little that people would pick him up and bring him to a vet if he was found wandering...

Saturday afternoon was the day! They took him in the back, he didn't want to go with the tech... Brian was there to hold my hand when they came and took Vito in the back - I was so nervous for him. The vet tech said he did really good, he didn't even whimper when they gave him the shot! What a big boy :) He is so brave! Now all I have to do is send off the registration and now my little escape artist won't be able to get too far!!

For those of you who are wondering if it hurts, how big it is, what it looks like etc, here is a picture of what they insert into the scruff of the neck on a dog. It is a picture of a micro chip with a bunch of rice so that you can see how small it is.

So the next day we (yep I made Brian come along with me!) took Vito to go sit on Santa's lap at PetsMart! I bought him these REALLY cute reindeer antlers for him to wear for the picture - he looked so cute!

for those who are worried: this is a huge 6ft Santa that my mom puts out for Christmas- I think he is the scariest thing EVER! (especially when you come home late at night to this gigantic figure - catches you off guard sometimes!) So I decided to beat him with his cane :) dont you just love Christmas time :)

Right now my life consists of watching hours upon hours of extremely boring videos for school – any one interested in World Revolutions? Yeah, I’m not either! Its torture! But – last class, last final, and then I am out of there FOREVER! So one week of torture I will settle for :)
