The case that has been on-going since October 31st, 2007 is finally over. The court ruled in favor of JK Rowling, they ordered that the book The Harry Potter Lexicon will not be published.

The case that has been on-going since October 31st, 2007 is finally over. The court ruled in favor of JK Rowling, they ordered that the book The Harry Potter Lexicon will not be published. JK Rowling releaseed this statement: "I took no pleasure at all in bringing legal action and am delighted that this issue has been resolved favourably," said J.K. Rowling. "I went to court to uphold the right of authors everywhere to protect their own original work. The court has upheld that right. The proposed book took an enormous amount of my work and added virtually no original commentary of its own. Now the court has ordered that it must not be published. Many books have been published which offer original insights into the world of Harry Potter. The Lexicon just is not one of them."
Steve Vander Ark, the author of The Harry Potter Lexicon, released this statement: "I've always been a fan of Harry Potter and of Rowling and my hope all along was that we'd find an amicable way to settle this. I'm disappointed, but this is the way it went and I don't hold any ill will at all. It was a question of law over a difference of opinion and, in a way, I'm glad that it's finally over."

HBP will have 30 minutes of 3-D footage shown in Imax Theaters. The Order of the Pheonix also had Imax footage, but there was only 17 minutes. This one should be pretty good!!!

Are you kidding me?? July 2009?! What a bunch of BS! That's 2 years after the release date. Sounds like someone is just trying to milk it for all it's worth to me.
It's a shame what people do for money. She has written a great series that has inspired so many children to read...why can't it just be that? Anyway, when you get a chance please respond to the question on my blog. Your sister said I should ask you, too!
