++ On food, - On Rodents!

Brian and I tried out a new restaurant this week, I read some positive reviews on City Search and a friend of mine really likes it. It was a BYOB restaurant, so after dinner, Brian and I were finishing up our wine… looking at something behind me, Brian’s eyes got really big, I turned around and didn’t see anything. He told me he just saw a rat run across the floor! WHAT?!?! He told the waiter, but he seemed to not really believe us… later, he started pointing and said “its back!” and this time, I saw it too. We called the waiter over there again, and he saw it and then tried to chase it out with a broom… I am glad the waiter actually saw it instead of thinking we just wanted something a free dessert or something, but really, a RAT?!?! And the sad thing is, we really liked the restaurant! The rat could have easily come from outside because we saw it right by the door which is always kept open, but still, who wants to see a rat run across the floor after you just finished your dinner??

The name of the restaurant? Dry Creek CafĂ© – and it was really good… minus the rat…

Oh that is just gross. I saw a Chick Fil A worker carry out a bag w/ a dead rat in it while I was in the drive through line....
AND I STILL WENT UP AND GOT (and ate) MY FOOD! I must really be addicted to that place! lol
Atleast the food was good!!

I've seen a couple of rats at a local Katy hangout. Pretty grose, but for some reason I've been back quite a few times. We always joke about getting "Rat Fingers" or "Rat Stew".
