I'm Learning!

My Sister and I signed up for a Wilton Cake Decorating Class. We have been in it for 3 weeks now, and I wanted to share my progress... My Very First Wilton Rose... (not much to be proud of!) But one week later (and the right consistency of icing) and this is what I made!! You can actually tell its supposed to be a rose! YAY! My first VERY lop-sided Cake One Week later... And then last night in class, we learned how to make Clowns! I am usually terrified of clowns, but I think these guys are pretty darn cute!!!
Next week is our final class, I will post pics of what my final cake looks like... I hope I get my Certificate for passing the class!!!

Okay, the clown still scares me...but major props for making it.

Those cakes are looking good.

My favorite is fondant. I love that icing.

You are better than me. Well, maybe not at clowns but definitely the rose. I need serious help. I guess I'll be practicing a lot this week. Eeek!

I am so proud of your decorating skills honey, you must have gotten that from me ;). I think you and your sister need to make Karys's b-day cake.
