Of Course Vampires Hate It - It Stinks!‏

I don’t know if this happens to any of you, but when I cook with garlic, I cannot get the smell off my hands and it drives me nuts! I smell it for up to 2 days after I cook with it! And no, I will not use garlic powder – I am Italian… that’s some kind of sin in our world! So I decided to google ways to get the smell off. Apparently there are a lot of different things you can do, but there was only one I could do while I was at the office.

You are suppose to rub your hands over stainless steel – such as a faucet, knife, spoon, etc. Obvioulsy, I was a little hesitant, but what could it hurt?? So I went to the bathroom, wet them, and started rubbing them up and down the faucet… while doing this, my boss walks in… she doesn’t say anything about what I am doing but instead smiles at me awkwardly and sparks up a random conversation… I was so embarrased! But after I dried my hands, the smell was gone!! My boss might think I enjoy molesting bathroom faucets, but at least my hands no longer smell like garlic!! YAY!

I can only imagine what your boss was thinking! Hilarious! You would get caught, too!

I can't cook with garlic because of that. I can't stand smelling like food. No onions or garlic in our house. In fact, I don't even like the taste of them. And fresh garlic makes me nauseous!

Okay, I don't even know where to begin. Your boss probably thinks you are some kind of freak obviously. Haha!

For some reason, the garlic smell never sticks to me. I cooked with it just last night - ground it up, used my masher, everything. Nada. Weird!
