My Car is Farting!

Of course after I make fun of my sister, karma comes to bite me in the A!

Yesterday I pull out of my parking spot from work and hear this noise coming from the back of my car… what in the world is that?? I decide to pull over on the bottom floor of the parking garage to see if I am dragging anything (because it was so loud, people are staring at me as I pass!). I get out – look – nothing – proceed to drive. I call my brother-in-law, Tim, I tell him there is no way to describe the noise except that it sounds like my car is farting! Having no idea what I am talking about, he tells me to call Justin, who tells me to go to an AutoZone…

I ask my friend, Brandon, to come with me because I hate going to a car place or hardware store by myself (all the groddie stares!). Of course he laughs at me when I say my car is farting… but he came anyway. The minute we walk up to my car he says “Rachel, your tire is completely flat.” What?!?! How did I not notice my car was driving different(or see it when I got out)?? I have no idea… (and believe me it was as flat as flat can be! TWO nails stuck in it!)
On our way to Discount Tire, a lady decides to roll down her window and yell at us that the tire is flat – gee thanks lady – we didn’t know that – we are only driving 5 MPH with the flashers on! Where were you an hour ago?? So I got 2 new tires for the back – amazingly I did not ruin my rim, even after driving on the freeway at 70 MPH on it!! And yes, the farting stopped :) and hey, at least this time my tire was flat for a legit reason, and not because I hit yet another pot hole! haha

Rachel, it does not surpise me that you didn't notice the tire, you are so oblivious to your surroundings, if it would have been a snake it would have bit you, poor Rachel, I love you baby.
