Expensive Dog!!!

Everyone knows about my little sweetheart Vito... well last night he was NOT being a sweetheart... I went over to Stephanie and Tim's to take my Christmas Card photo. I put Vito in a Santa Suit... he was not happy about it because he was so hot - he was pissy during the whole photo shoot!

So later... we are all sitting in the living room... Stephanie and Tim were eating dinner, I was sitting on the other couch when all of a sudden I look over and see Vito hiking his leg ON Stephanie and ON her NEW boots!!! They were very soft leather, so the pee RUINED her boots! I cant believe he did that! We were all in shock really... so now I am on the hunt for new boots for Stephanie... Vito only put me out about $200.00!! WAY TO GO VITO!!! ERRRRRRRR - I'm SO SORRY STEPHANIE!!!

But on a lighter note... I thought I would include some out takes of our photo shoot...

Yes... Again!

My poor car...

So… I got in another wreck… not my fault this time though! This time some lady was pulling out of her apartment complex while I was driving down the street and hit the front of my car. I saw her pulling out, laid on my horn and slammed on my brakes, and she still didn’t even slow down!! If I wouldn’t have hit my brakes, then she probably would have hit my driver side door! But no one was hurt, I've contacted the insurance company and am getting everything taken care of...

We had our 4th Annual Thanks for Nothing Dinner at Kenna & Joe's last night. There were fewer people this year than any other year, but we still had a great time! The food was great and there was a TON left over! Here are some pics from the dinner...

Just as we expected, Katy demolished Mayde Creek – I was secretly hoping Mayde Creek would win… but that wasn’t the case at all – with the ending score of 63 – 3. Here are some photos of us enjoying the game…

RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL

YEAH! The Ren Fest is back!! I LOVE going to the Ren Fest - and this was Brian's FIRST time to go! He really liked it - there is so much to do there, he only got to experience a little part of it, but the weather was great, the shows were hilarious, and of course - the food was amazing!

Mayde Creek v Katy High School

I remember how much I used to look forward to this day in high school… it was the most school spirit we had in one day – pretty much the whole school participated in dressing all out in camo! Now, I will be in the other side of the stadium, not on the field, and not in green – yep, I am going to the Katy v Mayde Creek High School football game! My little sister is in the Brigade (drill team) at Katy High School and I’m going to support her, and her school – which means I will be on the winning side this time! Haha. This will also be my first Mayde Creek Football game to attend since I graduated in 02… My Mom, Stephanie, Tim, Karys, myself and Brian will all be there cheering Ashley on!! Tonight is the first time that the two drill teams are not dancing together because it is parent night. My Dad had to work, so he couldnt dance with Ashley on the field - so Tim is going to take his place on the field tonight! It looks like it might be one heck of a game too because Mayde Creek is ranked 2nd in the Division! Katy is ranked 4th Nationally, but I am thinking it will still be a good game!! GOOD LUCK to both Ashley & Tim!!!

Skydiving!!

I am going to go skydiving in December!!! – its one of those things that I want to do before I die – AHH!! My friend Kenna is going and the more people you get, the cheaper the cost per person – so why not go now?? I am sure it would be one of the most thrilling experiences ever! Of course there is always the risk of plunging to my death… but you have to take risks in life, right? – tandem of course (attached to a professional) I'm so excited! Let me know what you think!!! And if you want to do it – the more people, the cheaper!!! WOOHOO!!

PUBLIC!

So today is my first day to go PUBLIC on my blog!!! WELCOME! As you can see I have been updating it periodically, but now that I have the pressure of people checking it, I will update it more frequently! Memories...

Do they haunt us or do they comfort us?

Today is the 6 year anniversary of my Papa’s death. In some ways it doesn’t feel that long, and in others it feels even longer. He was a great man, successful business man, huge family man, and a great chunk of my heart. I love my Papa so much, they say time heals, but some cuts are too deep to heal completely. They leave scars on our hearts, and just as scars are sensitive for the rest of your life, as are some memories. I miss my Papa so much. I still cant talk about the day he passed, think about my memories, or even finish this entry without tears falling down my face. I know my family feels the same way, my nana, all of my aunts, sisters, parents, and cousins. I am so happy I was so close to him and have all the wonderful memories I have with him.

I love you Papa, and miss you dearly.

It's All Gone!

I went to Eddie to get my hair cut yesterday, and even he was surprised at my choice! I never go short… and although some people may not think it is short… this is VERY short for me! I am still getting used to it, and getting used to styling it is going to take even longer… but so far I like it :) Its different to me though… And the funny thing is, most girls like my hair better short, most guys like my hair better long… but oh well, I needed a change and I got it! It will be a while before I can wear my hair natural though. So let me know what you think!!
